Round Rattan Tray with Mother of Pearl Inlay, 30 cm

Description

This round rattan tray pairs a handwoven natural rattan rim with a light blue mother of pearl leaf pattern. The circular inlay sits within a woven border, creating a decorative surface for tea service, coffee table arrangements and a coordinated display of everyday items. Its illustrated diameter is 11.8 inches, approximately 30 cm.

Mother of pearl inlay with a woven rattan rim

The tray combines natural rattan, a wood core and mother of pearl inlay. A glossy lacquer covers the patterned surface, while the rattan edge adds visible woven texture. Pale blue leaf shapes radiate across the base against a light background, making the design easy to pair with simple tableware or a small vase.

The original specification also describes rubber pads on the underside. These provide contact points beneath the base; place the tray on a level surface and check it is resting securely before arranging items. As with a woven and inlaid item, review a sample for the final weave, colour and finish before confirming a bulk order.

Serving and decorative display ideas

Use this rattan serving tray to bring together a cup of tea, a small dish and a piece of fruit, or arrange it as a centrepiece on a coffee table. The pale blue design also works as a backdrop for perfume bottles, jewellery, keys or a small vase on a vanity or entryway console. Keep taller items balanced and support the tray with both hands when moving an arrangement.

The photographs show serving and decorative examples. Fruit, glasses, vases and other accessories are styling props. For food presentation, use suitable dishes or liners unless the intended direct food contact use has been confirmed for your order. Care for the lacquered inlay tray

Wipe the surface gently with a soft damp cloth, then dry it. Avoid soaking the rattan rim or leaving water pooled on the base. Keep abrasive scrubbers and strong cleaners away from the glossy finish. Store the tray dry and protect the inlay from knocks when packing or moving it. Confirm any additional care requirements with your approved sample.
